Guides and notes from the people building OVO: moving a collection to iPhone, understanding formats, using the equalizer without ruining the mix, and what actually plays on Apple Watch.
Party Mode brings artwork-powered motion, beat-reactive pulses and optional rhythm haptics to supported local tracks in OVO. It is not a promise for every source, device or visualizer workflow.
Siri can start an available OVO playback action, but a voice command does not prove that the chosen file is local, available, or playable while the iPhone is locked.
Use Clock for a fixed music stop time, but check its end action again before an audible timer. Musical endpoints and OVO’s installed timer choices need separate checks.
Music files you own can play from an iPhone on an AirPlay speaker when three things are true: the track starts on the phone, the player exposes an output route, and the receiver is reachable on the local network.
