Sound
Hear the difference.
Sound controls exist to solve problems you can actually hear: a rip with no bottom end, a transfer that plays too quietly, headphones that need help in one range.

Controls
Three tools, used deliberately.
- EqualizerTen bands
- Adjust specific ranges from the low end to the top, and leave the rest of the mix alone.
- BassBass Boost
- Adds weight underneath the track. Useful on small headphones; easy to overdo on large ones.
- LevelVolume Boost
- Raises quiet material so an old rip sits at the same level as everything else in your library.
A good starting point: make one change at a time, listen to a track you know well, and stop as soon as the problem is gone. Large boosts across many bands usually make music sound worse, not louder.
Response
Three controls, one signal path.
The equalizer sets the shape across ten bands, Bass Boost adds weight underneath it, and Volume Boost raises the whole level. Every change applies to what is playing right now, on the track you are listening to.
