Every feature has to earn its place in a player you use every day.
- Own it first: the files you keep are the primary library; connected sources sit alongside them.
- Respect the collection: album order, artwork and folder structure survive the import.
- Controls, not gimmicks: sound tools exist to fix audible problems, not to add numbers to a feature list.
- Native to Apple platforms: iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch behaviour is designed separately, not scaled from one layout.
- Say what is true: we describe what the app does today rather than what we hope to ship later.
